1960’s
1963
April 11th: The Aldaar Arrival; an alien vessel arrives on earth, the city-sized ship hovers over the Atlantic ocean for several days without making contact. It is only after contact with Itharii that the ship is identified as belonging to a species named the Aldaar.
April 14th: The Aldaar ship mysterious explodes for reasons that remain unknown to the world. Over the next few decades, isolated surviving artifacts are recovered, creating heroes and villains.
May 9th: The first publicly known super-powered individual —Who become dubbed ‘Metahumans‘— is identified on live television in Spain, soon followed by many more. Governments quickly respond by instituting a state of emergency and forming organizations to handle the crisis.
May 30th: During a parahuman hysteria riot; Chicago Firefighter Anton Nilson rushes into a burning building to save a trapped family. Circumstances force him to make the choice to stay behind in order to evacuate the last of the victims. As the building is about to crumble, he is chosen by the Starheart as its first human bearer.
June 11th: Early supervillain Malice goes on a rampage across New York City, stealing her way to wealth, as well as assaulting and murdering people who had crossed her. The Police and National Guard fail to stop or even significantly slow her reign of terror. She is only stopped when Anton Nilson, wearing an improvised costume to hide his identity, fights and after a twelve-hour battle finally defeats her. In the aftermath, the mysterious hero is dubbed Orion by the press and becomes a sensation.
Unspecified: Unknown to most of the world, the rise of parahumans also lead to a re-emergence of magic, all through the world witches and wizards see their spells suddenly become more potent and easier. Slowly, magical beings thought to be nothing but myths begin to reemerge.
1965
December 11th: The Brooks Range Federal Parahuman Penitentiary, better known as ‘The Freezer’ opens its door. It is the very first prison dedicated specifically to holding parahumans.
1968
Summer: Metahumans begin dominating the criminal underworld, quickly shattering previous long-standing organized crime families. In Europe, remnants of mafia families, street gangs, British crime firms, French milieu, and drug clans rally together to push back against the metahuman threat, in time they form the Syndicate and begin expanding worldwide.

1984
June 27th: The first interdimensional portal is opened, Earth Aleph makes contact with Earth-a001. However the world is mundane and of little interest; still ruled by the empires of the age of discovery, but lacking Parahumans.
1986
December 14th: Earth Bet is discovered; the first parallel world known to have metahuman or alien, peaceful diplomatic contact is made between Earth Aleph and Earth Bet human and Venusian populations.
1989
August 4th: Earth Gimel is discovered, peaceful contact is made with the local non-human population who become known as Gimelians.
1990’s
1993
February 12th: Doctor Erich Von Neumann working on the Human Genome Project after years of research isolate a unique genetic marker found exclusively within mutants; the recessive gene that soon take his name. All mutants possess two identical copies of this newly discovered genes while carriers can be identified by having a singular copy.
1999
November 11th: Hoping to start a second cold war, the Red Guard attacks New York in the name of Russia. The attack is repealed but the first Raven is slain by the Siberian. The Russian government denies involvement and condemns the Red Guard and its members are declared terrorists.
2000’s
2000
September 4th: Following the will of the first Raven, The Ravenhold Academy opens its doors after months of hurried construction, welcoming parahumans wishing to become heroes. Several retired heroes such as Defender become teachers
2002
November 30th: the Itharii arrive on earth after escaping the Ver’s invasion of the planet. Peaceful diplomatic contact is made. After deliberations, the UN allows Itharii to settle on earth in designated areas and are soon allowed to become citizens of nations sheltering them. The Legion oversees the proceedings, ensuring Itharii are not exploited.
2007
May 26th: First contact with the Chisk species. One of their migrant fleets peacefully makes contact, Earth and the aliens exchange resources and cultural data, a small group of Chisks come to reside on earth as part of a cultural exchange program.
2010’s
2015
September 19th: A Shivat scoutship enters the solar system and soon earth orbit, as first contact begins. A mistake causes a novice metahuman attempting to fly to the ship to accidentally damage it and the ship crashlands on earth with thankfully minimal injury to the crew but stranding them on a hostile biosphere. Thankfully relationships are salvaged, the ship repaired and aliens sent on their way after a few weeks.
2017
December 3rd: After two years the Shivat return with a passing fleet, anxiety about the accident of their first visit is high but the fleet is friendly and begins a long-standing diplomatic exchange program. A few hundred shivats remain in the system when the fleet departs, and visits by various ships and fleet begin every few months.
An Embassy is constructed in orbit, which becomes controversial in the art world due to its clashing choice of colors and tacky decor, people debate if it is a fascinating example of alien aesthetics or an eyesore.
2018
June 18th: The Tzari Empire invades earth intent on annexing it into their Empire. A coalition of various nations come together to oppose the aliens in the next few days, some countries including the Technocratic Union choose to try diplomacy rather than fight.
July 28th: Moscow is nuked from orbit by the Tzari Highlord as the tide of the battle turns in favor of humanity, millions of civilians, human soldiers, superheroes, and Tzari soldiers are killed in the act. This begins the fracturing of the Tzari expeditionary force. Lord Kiorga begins a rebel movement to depose the Highlord.
August 2nd: The Earth-Tzari war ends with a human victory, Lord Kiorga seizes control of the fleet and orders its retreat and surrender of all Tzari forces. Some pockets loyal to the former Highlord remain for a few months.
About half a million Tzari are left behind in the retreat. Victory comes at a high cost with over half of Earth’s heroes, a hundred million soldiers and civilians, and two million Tzari are left dead, among the dead is the second Orion and a third of the Ravenhold student volunteers.
2020’s
2020
July 6th: The Meteor dubbed Iapetus by the press is destroyed as it approaches Earth, fragments rain down overhead relatively harmlessly. Some of the fragments contain exotic matter and lead to the emergence of a new breed of metahumans known as the Meteor Children.
2022
August 29th: Ravenhold opens its door for a brand new year. Start of the core story of Ravehold Academy.
